Dear God, help me to let go of my own desires and seek your will above all else. May I be willing to lose my own life for the sake of following you and your plan for my life. Grant me the strength and courage to surrender my own desires and trust in your perfect plan. Thank you for the promise that when I lose my life for your sake, I will find it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
