Praying from 1 Peter 5:10 relating to Grace, suffering, glory
Dear God of all grace,
Thank you for calling me to your eternal glory through Christ Jesus. I know that I may have to suffer for a little while, but I trust in your promise to perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle me.
I claim this promise today and ask that you would work in my life to make me more like Christ. Help me to endure any trials or hardships that come my way, knowing that you are with me and that you will use them for my good.
Please perfect me in your love, establish me in your truth, strengthen me in your power, and settle me in your peace. May I always trust in your goodness and grace, and may I bring glory to your name in all that I do.
Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of your presence in my life. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
