Praying from Hebrews 4:8 relating to Rest, Promise, Faithfulness.

Dear Lord, I claim the promise that if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day. I pray that you grant me the rest that I need in my life. Help me to find peace and comfort in your presence, knowing that you are always with me. I trust in your promises and believe that you will provide for all my needs. Thank you for your love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Hebrews 4:8

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that if Joshua had truly given the people rest, there would be no need for another day of rest. It is a promise that true rest will come.
