Dear God, help me to trust in your plan for my life. If I am bound to a spouse, give me the strength and grace to honor and cherish them. If I am single, help me to find contentment in my current state and not seek a partner out of desperation or loneliness. Guide me in all my relationships and help me to seek your will above my own desires. Amen.

Verse: Are you bound to a wife? Don’t seek to be freed. Are you free from a wife? Don’t seek a wife.
1 Corinthians 7:27

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to not seek to be freed from their spouse if they are married, and to not seek a spouse if they are single.
