Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise in Proverbs 12:6. I pray that my words will always be upright and truthful, and that they will serve as a rescue for me and those around me. Protect me from the words of the wicked, who lie in wait for blood. May my speech be a source of comfort and hope for those who hear it. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of rescue through upright speech. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: The words of the wicked are about lying in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright rescues them.
