Praying from Romans 6:21. Themes: Sin, Shame, Death.
Dear Lord, I come before you with a heavy heart, acknowledging the fruit of my past actions that I am now ashamed of. I ask for your forgiveness and mercy, knowing that the end of those things is death. Help me to turn away from my past mistakes and to live a life that is pleasing to you. May my actions and words reflect your love and grace, and may I bear fruit that brings glory to your name. Thank you for your never-ending love and forgiveness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
Romans 6:21
This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to reflect on their past actions and consider the consequences of continuing down that path, as the end result will be death.
