Praying from Romans 6:19. Themes: Weakness, Servanthood, Righteousness

Dear Lord, I acknowledge my weakness and frailty as a human being. I have often presented myself as a servant to uncleanness and wickedness, and for that, I ask for your forgiveness. Help me to present my members as servants to righteousness for sanctification. May my thoughts, words, and actions be aligned with your will and purpose for my life. Strengthen me to resist the temptations of the flesh and to walk in the path of righteousness. Thank you for your grace and mercy that enables me to live a life that pleases you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh; for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.
Romans 6:19

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to present their members as servants to righteousness for sanctification, after having previously presented them as servants to uncleanness and wickedness.
