Praying from Romans 4:4. Themes: Grace, Works, Reward
Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as something owed. I claim this promise today and ask that you help me to work diligently and faithfully in all that I do. May I never forget that the reward I receive is not because of my own efforts, but because of your grace and mercy. Thank you for your love and provision in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as something owed.
Romans 4:4
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that if someone works for a reward, it is not considered a gift of grace but rather something that is owed to them.
