Praying from Romans 11:8. Themes: Judgment, Blindness, Hardening.
Dear God, I claim the promise that you have given me a spirit of clarity and understanding. I declare that my eyes are open to see the truth and my ears are attentive to hear your voice. I reject any spirit of stupor or confusion that may try to hinder my understanding of your word. Thank you for your faithfulness in guiding me and revealing your truth to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: According as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day.”
Romans 11:8
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that God has given some people a spirit of stupor, causing them to be unable to see or hear, and this has been the case up until the present day.
