Praying from Romans 10:21. Themes: Disobedience, Contrariness, God’s Patience.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for your promise that you have stretched out your hands to us, even when we have been disobedient and contrary. We claim this promise today and ask for your forgiveness for any ways in which we have strayed from your will.

Help us to be obedient to your commands and to follow your ways. May we be a people who honor you with our lives and bring glory to your name.

Thank you for your patience and love towards us, even when we fall short. We trust in your faithfulness and ask for your guidance and strength as we seek to live for you.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: But about Israel he says, “All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”
Romans 10:21

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement about God’s actions towards Israel, specifically that he has continually reached out to them despite their disobedience and opposition.
