Praying from Romans 10:10. Themes: Faith, Righteousness, Confession
Dear Lord,
I come before you with a humble heart, acknowledging that it is only through faith in you that I can be made righteous. I submit myself to your will and ask that you help me to believe with all my heart.
I also claim the promise that with my mouth, I can confess my faith in you and receive salvation. I declare that you are my Lord and Savior, and I trust in your grace and mercy to save me.
Thank you for your love and forgiveness, and for the gift of salvation that you offer to all who believe. May my life be a testimony to your goodness and may I always walk in your ways.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:10
This is a Both.
The command is to confess with one’s mouth, which results in salvation. The promise is that believing with one’s heart results in righteousness.
