Dear Yahweh our God,

Thank you for answering us when we call out to you. We know that you are a God who forgives us, even though we may have sinned against you. We claim the promise that you will take vengeance for our doings and protect us from harm. Help us to always turn to you in times of trouble and trust in your unfailing love and mercy.

In Jesus’ name we pray,
