Dear Yahweh, my loving and faithful God, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I know that in my moments of weakness and despair, you are always there to hold me up and keep me from falling. Your loving kindness is my anchor, and I trust in your unfailing love to guide me through every trial and challenge.

Lord, I claim the promise of your word that says, “When I said, ‘My foot is slipping!’ Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up.” I know that no matter what I may face in this life, you are always with me, holding me up and keeping me safe in your loving arms.

So today, I ask that you continue to pour out your grace and mercy upon me. Help me to trust in your promises and to walk in your ways. May your loving kindness be my strength and my shield, and may I always find refuge in your unfailing love.

Thank you, Yahweh, for your faithfulness and your goodness. I give you all the praise and honor and glory, now and forevermore. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that Yahweh’s loving kindness held the speaker up when they were slipping. There is no command given to the reader.
