Prayer based on Psalms 88:14. Themes: Suffering, Faith, Trust
of God’s presence and love.
Dear Yahweh,
I come to you today with a heavy heart, feeling rejected and alone. But I know that you have promised to never leave me nor forsake me. Your word says that you are always with me, even in the darkest of times.
So I claim that promise today, Lord. I declare that your presence is with me, and that your love surrounds me. I choose to trust in your goodness and your faithfulness, even when I cannot see or feel it.
Thank you for being my refuge and my strength. Thank you for never giving up on me, even when I feel like giving up on myself. I know that you are working all things together for my good, and that your plans for me are always for my welfare and not for harm.
So I lift up my soul to you, Yahweh, and I ask that you would fill me with your peace and your joy. Help me to rest in your love, and to know that I am never alone. Thank you for hearing my prayer, and for always being there for me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
