Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have divided the sea by your strength and have broken the heads of the sea monsters in the waters. I thank you for your mighty power and for the ways in which you have shown your strength throughout history. I pray that you would continue to demonstrate your power in my life and in the lives of those around me. Help me to trust in your strength and to rely on you in all things. May your name be praised forever and ever. Amen.

Verse: You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
Psalms 74:13

This is a Promise. The verse is describing God’s power and might in dividing the sea and defeating sea monsters. There is no direct command given to the reader.
