Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you do not delight in sacrifice or burnt offerings. I claim this promise today and ask that you help me to understand that my actions alone cannot earn your favor. Instead, I pray that you would help me to seek your will and follow your ways with a humble heart. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the gift of salvation through your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Verse: For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.
Psalms 51:16
