Dear Lord, please soften my heart and help me to embrace your instruction. I confess that I have been guilty of throwing your words behind me and ignoring your guidance. Please forgive me and help me to be receptive to your teachings. May I have a hunger for your wisdom and a willingness to apply it to my life. Thank you for your patience and grace towards me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalms 50:17

This is a Command. The verse is a rebuke to those who reject God’s instruction and disregard His words. The command is to listen and follow His teachings.
