Prayer based on Psalms 44:9. Themes: Rejection, Dishonor, Warfare.
Dear Lord, we come before you humbly and acknowledge that we have sinned against you. We have strayed from your ways and have brought dishonor upon ourselves. But we claim the promise that you will never leave us nor forsake us. We ask that you forgive us and restore us to your favor. We pray that you go out with our armies and lead us to victory over our enemies. We trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: But now you rejected us, and brought us to dishonor, and don’t go out with our armies.
Psalms 44:9
This is a Promise.
The verse is a statement acknowledging that God has rejected the people and brought them to dishonor, and as a result, He will not go out with their armies. There is no command given to the reader.
