Dear Lord, please help me to see myself as I truly am and not to be blinded by my own pride and self-flattery. Give me the courage to recognize and hate my sin, and to turn away from it. Help me to be humble and honest with myself, so that I may grow closer to you and become the person you created me to be. Amen.

Verse: For he flatters himself in his own eyes,too much to detect and hate his sin.
