Praying from Psalms 19:8. Themes: God’s Word, Joy, Enlightenment.
Dear Yahweh,
I come before you with a heart full of submission and reverence. Your precepts are right and true, and they bring joy to my heart. I pray that you would help me to follow your commands and live according to your will.
Your commandments are pure and holy, and they bring light to my eyes. I pray that you would continue to enlighten my understanding and guide me in all that I do. May your word be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
I claim the promise that your precepts are right and your commandments are pure. I trust in your wisdom and your goodness, and I know that you will lead me in the way that I should go. Thank you for your love and your grace, and for the gift of your word.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
