Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you have established us forever and ever. I claim this promise today and trust that you will never let us go. Your decree will not pass away, and I trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help me to live my life in a way that honors you and brings glory to your name. Thank you for your steadfast love and for the assurance that you will always be with us. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which will not pass away.
Psalms 148:6

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that God has established something forever and made a decree that will not pass away. It is not giving a command to the reader.
