Praying from Psalms 140:10. Themes: Judgment, Punishment, Consequences
Dear Lord, I pray that those who have wronged me or caused harm to others may be met with burning coals and be thrown into the fire. May they be cast into miry pits from where they never rise, and may they be held accountable for their actions. I ask for justice to be served and for those who have been hurt to find peace and healing. Amen.
Verse: Let burning coals fall on them.Let them be thrown into the fire, into miry pits, from where they never rise.
Psalms 140:10
This is a Command. The verse is a plea for God to punish the enemies of the psalmist. The command is for God to bring judgment upon them, specifically by causing burning coals to fall on them and throwing them into the fire and miry pits.
