Prayer based on Psalms 125:3. Themes: Justice, Righteousness, Evil
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that the scepter of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous. I claim this promise for myself and for all those who seek to follow you. I pray that you would protect us from the influence of evil and that we would not be tempted to use our hands to do wrong. Help us to remain steadfast in our commitment to righteousness and to trust in your unfailing love and protection. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the assurance that you will always be with us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: For the scepter of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous, so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.
