Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude for the promise that you have given me. I claim the promise that I will have more understanding than all my teachers because your testimonies are my meditation. I pray that you will continue to guide me as I meditate on your word and seek to understand your ways. Help me to apply your teachings to my life and to share your love with those around me. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of wisdom and understanding that you have given me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation.
Psalms 119:99

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that the writer has gained more understanding than their teachers because they meditate on God’s testimonies. It is a promise that meditating on God’s word will bring understanding.
