Prayer based on Psalms 119:136. Themes: Sorrow, Law, Obedience

Dear God, my tears flow freely as I see the world around me ignoring your law. I pray that you would open their eyes to the truth and guide them towards your ways. Help me to be a light in the darkness and to live out your commands with love and grace. May your word be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, leading me closer to you each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Streams of tears run down my eyes, because they don’t observe your law.
Psalms 119:136

This is a Command. The verse is a plea for the reader to observe God’s law and follow it, as the psalmist is weeping because others are not doing so.
