Prayer based on Psalms 119:108. Themes: Worship, Obedience, Learning.
Dear Yahweh,
I come before you with a willing heart and a humble spirit. I offer you the words of my mouth as a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. Please accept them as a sweet aroma to your ears.
Lord, I ask that you teach me your ways and your ordinances. Help me to understand your will and to follow your commands. Give me the wisdom and discernment to make the right choices and to live a life that is pleasing to you.
Thank you for your love and grace, and for the gift of salvation through your son, Jesus Christ. May my life be a reflection of your goodness and mercy, and may I bring glory to your name in all that I do.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Accept, I beg you, the willing offerings of my mouth. Yahweh, teach me your ordinances.
Psalms 119:108
This is a Command. The verse is a plea for God to accept the speaker’s offerings and a request for God to teach them His ordinances. The command to the reader is to also seek God’s guidance and instruction.
