Dear Yahweh,

Thank you for examining the righteous and for hating the wicked and those who love violence. I claim the promise that you will always be on the side of the righteous and that you will protect us from the wicked. Help me to always walk in your ways and to be counted among the righteous. Keep me safe from those who love violence and help me to be a peacemaker in this world. Thank you for your love and protection.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
