Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you have rescued us many times. I claim this promise today and ask for your continued protection and guidance in my life. Help me to be obedient to your counsel and not rebel against it. Forgive me for my past iniquities and bring me low in humility before you. May I always trust in your faithfulness and never forget the many times you have rescued me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
