Dear Lord, as I stand beside the gates of my life, at the entry of my heart, and at the doors of my mind, I pray that I may hear your voice crying aloud. May I have the wisdom to discern your will and the courage to follow your path. Help me to be open to your guidance and to trust in your plan for my life. May I always seek your presence and listen to your voice, for you are the way, the truth, and the life. Amen.

Verse: Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:
Proverbs 8:3

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to listen to wisdom, which is personified as a woman crying out at the entrance of the city.
