Dear God, please help me to resist the temptation to rejoice when my enemy falls or is overthrown. Instead, give me a heart of compassion and forgiveness, and help me to pray for my enemies and wish them well. Help me to remember that we are all your children and that you love us all equally. May your love and grace guide my thoughts and actions towards my enemies, and may I always seek to show them kindness and mercy. Amen.
