Prayer based on Proverbs 20:5. Themes: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel

Dear Lord, I pray that you grant me the wisdom and understanding to draw out the counsel that lies deep within my heart. Help me to discern the thoughts and emotions that are hidden within me, and guide me in using them for your glory. May I be a man/woman of understanding, able to navigate the depths of my own heart and the hearts of those around me. Thank you for your grace and guidance in this journey. Amen.

Verse: Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.
Proverbs 20:5

This is a Command. The verse is instructing the reader to be a person of understanding who can draw out the deep counsel within themselves and others.
