Prayer based on Proverbs 20:2. Themes: Fear, Consequences, Anger.
Dear Lord, help me to remember that the terror of a king is like the roaring of a lion. May I never provoke anyone to anger, especially those in positions of authority. Give me the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent, and the humility to submit to those in leadership over me. Protect me from any harm that may come from my actions or words, and guide me in all my interactions with others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: The terror of a king is like the roaring of a lion. He who provokes him to anger forfeits his own life.
Proverbs 20:2
