Dear Lord, I come before you with a humble heart, recognizing that before destruction, pride can take hold of me. I pray that you would help me to resist the temptation of pride and instead cultivate a spirit of humility. I trust in your promise that before honor comes humility, and I ask that you would grant me the grace to walk in humility so that I may experience the honor that comes from you. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of your word. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Before destruction the heart of man is proud, but before honor is humility.
Proverbs 18:12
