Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that the path of life leads upward for the wise, to keep us from going downward to Sheol. I claim this promise for myself and for my loved ones. Help us to walk in wisdom and to always choose the path of life that leads to you. Protect us from the downward spiral of sin and destruction. May we always look to you for guidance and strength, and may we never lose sight of the upward path that leads to eternal life with you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
