Dear God, please help me to be a wise son/daughter who brings joy and gladness to my father. Help me to honor and respect my mother, and never despise her. Give me the wisdom to make good decisions and live a life that brings honor to my family and to You. Amen.

Verse: A wise son makes a father glad, but a foolish man despises his mother.
Proverbs 15:20
