Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heavy heart, feeling afflicted and burdened by the challenges of life. But I claim the promise in your word that says, “one who has a cheerful heart enjoys a continual feast.” I pray that you would fill me with your joy and peace, and help me to maintain a cheerful heart even in the midst of difficult circumstances. May I always remember that you are with me, and that your love and grace are sufficient for me. Thank you for the continual feast that you provide for those who trust in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
