Prayer based on Proverbs 13:13. Themes: Instruction, Respect, Reward

Dear Lord, please help me to always respect and value instruction and commands. May I never despise the wisdom and guidance that comes from those who seek to help me grow and learn. I pray that I may be rewarded for my obedience and respect, and that I may always strive to follow your will and ways. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.

Verse: Whoever despises instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command will be rewarded.
Proverbs 13:13

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to respect a command in order to be rewarded and warns against despising instruction, which will result in paying for it.
