Prayer based on Proverbs 11:19. Themes: Righteousness, Consequences, Life
Dear Lord,
I come before you humbly, acknowledging that you are the source of all righteousness and life. I submit myself to your will and your ways, knowing that only in you can I find true goodness and fulfillment.
I claim the promise that you have given us, that he who is truly righteous gets life. I pray that you would help me to pursue righteousness with all my heart, mind, and soul. May I be a reflection of your goodness and grace in all that I do.
At the same time, I recognize the danger of pursuing evil. I pray that you would protect me from the temptations and snares of the enemy, and that you would give me the strength to resist them. Help me to turn away from all that is wicked and harmful, and to cling to you alone.
Thank you for your promise of life to those who seek after you. May I always be found among the righteous, and may my life be a testimony to your love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: He who is truly righteous gets life. He who pursues evil gets death.
Proverbs 11:19
This is a Both.
