Praying from Philippians 4:6 relating to Anxiety, Prayer, Thanksgiving

Dear God, I come to you today with a heart full of anxiety and worry. But I know that you have commanded me to be anxious for nothing. So, I surrender all my fears and concerns to you. I trust that you are in control of every situation in my life. Help me to remember that I can come to you in prayer and petition with thanksgiving, and that you will hear my requests. I thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for always being there for me. I pray that you will give me peace that surpasses all understanding, and that you will guide me through every step of my journey. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:6

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not be anxious and to instead make their requests known to God through prayer and thanksgiving.
