Praying from Matthew 3:3 relating to Preparation, Prophecy, Repentance.
Dear Lord, we thank you for sending your prophet Isaiah to speak of the coming of John the Baptist, who prepared the way for your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to hear the voice of John crying out in the wilderness, calling us to make the way of the Lord ready and to make his paths straight. May we be willing to repent of our sins and turn towards you, so that we may be ready to receive your Son when he comes again. Amen.
Verse: For this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying,“The voice of one crying in the wilderness, make the way of the Lord ready! Make his paths straight!”
