Praying from Matthew 18:21. Themes: Forgiveness, Repentance, Mercy.
Dear Lord, like Peter, I come before you today with a question about forgiveness. How many times should I forgive my brother who has sinned against me? Should it be seven times? Lord, I pray that you give me the strength and grace to forgive not just seven times but seventy times seven. Help me to let go of any bitterness or resentment in my heart and to extend your love and mercy to those who have wronged me. Thank you for your forgiveness towards me, and may I reflect that same forgiveness to others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”
