Praying from Matthew 1:23 relating to Incarnation, Salvation, Prophecy.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today claiming the promise that you have given us through the prophet Isaiah. I believe that the virgin shall be with child and shall give birth to a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which means “God with us.”

Lord, I thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to be with us, to live among us, and to die for us. I believe that through him, we have access to your love, your grace, and your mercy.

I pray that you would help me to always remember that you are with me, no matter what I may face in this life. I pray that you would give me the strength and the courage to trust in you, to follow your will, and to share your love with others.

Thank you, Lord, for being with us always. May we never forget the promise of Immanuel, that you are truly God with us.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.

Verse: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”
Matthew 1:23

This is a Promise. The verse is a prophecy about the birth of Jesus, who will be called Immanuel, meaning “God with us.”
