Praying from Matthew 12:20. Themes: Compassion, Justice, Victory.
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you won’t break a bruised reed and you won’t quench a smoking flax. I thank you for your tender and compassionate heart towards those who are hurting and broken. I pray that you would heal the bruises in my life and restore me to wholeness. I ask that you would fan the flame of my faith and not let it be extinguished. I trust that you will lead justice to victory in my life and in the world around me. Thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a smoking flax, until he leads justice to victory.
This is a Promise. The verse is assuring the reader that God will not give up on them, even if they are weak or struggling. He will continue to guide them towards justice and victory.
