Praying from Matthew 10:28 relating to Fear, Soul, Body

Dear God, help me to remember that my physical body is temporary and that my soul is eternal. Please give me the courage to not be afraid of those who may harm my body, but to fear you, who have the power to destroy both body and soul in Gehenna. Help me to live my life in a way that honors you and protects my soul. Amen.

Verse: Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
Matthew 10:28
