Dear God, thank you for the example of the woman who gave all that she had, even though she had very little. Help me to have a heart like hers, willing to give sacrificially and generously. May I not be focused on my own abundance, but on the needs of others. Give me the courage to trust in your provision, even when it seems like I have very little. Help me to be a faithful steward of all that you have given me, and to use it to bless others and bring glory to your name. Amen.

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to give sacrificially, even if it means giving all that they have to live on.
