Prayer based on Mark 12:15. Themes: Hypocrisy, Testing, Money
Dear Lord, as we come before you today, we ask for your guidance and wisdom. We are faced with a decision, whether to give or not to give. Just as you knew the hypocrisy of those who tested you, we pray that you reveal to us the true intentions behind our actions. Help us to see the value in giving and the impact it can have on those in need. We ask that you provide us with the means to give generously and with a pure heart. May we always seek to serve you and others with sincerity and love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: Shall we give, or shall we not give?” But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them,“Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.”

This is a Command. The command is to bring Jesus a denarius.
