Prayer based on Mark 10:14. Themes: Inclusion, Kingdom of God, Children
Dear Lord Jesus,
As we come before you today, we ask for your grace and mercy to be upon us. We thank you for your love and compassion towards us, especially towards the little children.
We pray that you would help us to have the same heart as you, to be moved with indignation when we see injustice and to always welcome the little ones into your presence.
May we never hinder anyone from coming to you, but instead, may we be a bridge that leads them to your Kingdom. We know that your Kingdom belongs to such as these, and we pray that we would always have a childlike faith and trust in you.
Thank you for your unfailing love and for always being there for us. We pray this in your precious name, Amen.
Verse: But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation and said to them,“Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.
Mark 10:14
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to allow little children to come to Jesus and not forbid them.
