Dear Lord, help me to see beyond the superficial and materialistic things of this world. Help me to focus on what truly matters and seek after the things that are pleasing to you. May I not be swayed by the allure of luxury and extravagance, but instead find contentment in simplicity and humility. Guide me to live a life that is pleasing to you, and may I always remember that true riches are found in your presence. Amen.
Verse: But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft clothing? Behold, those who are gorgeously dressed and live delicately are in kings’ courts.
Luke 7:25
