Dear God, help me to bear good fruit in my life. May my actions and words reflect your love and grace. Help me to avoid the thorns and brambles of negativity and instead cultivate a heart that produces grapes of kindness and figs of generosity. Thank you for your guidance and wisdom. Amen.

Verse: For each tree is known by its own fruit. For people don’t gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.
Luke 6:44

This is a Command. The verse is instructing the reader to judge others by their actions and behavior, as a tree is known by its fruit. It implies that one should not expect good things from those who consistently exhibit bad behavior.
