Praying from Luke 23:30. Themes: Judgment, Fear of God, End Times.
Dear Lord, I claim the promise that when the day of your return comes, those who have rejected you will cry out to the mountains and hills to fall on them and cover them. I pray that I will not be among those who reject you, but that I will be found faithful and ready for your return. Help me to live each day with the knowledge that you could come back at any moment, and to be prepared to meet you. Thank you for the promise of eternal life with you, and for the hope that sustains me as I wait for your return. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Then they will begin to tell the mountains, ‘ Fall on us!’ and tell the hills, ‘ Cover us.’
Luke 23:30
This is a Promise.
This verse, found in Luke 23:30, is a prophecy of the end times and the judgment that will come upon the earth. It describes people calling out for the mountains and hills to fall on them, seeking to escape the wrath of God. The promise is that this judgment will come, and those who have rejected God will face the consequences of their actions.
